Over the past two decades, DL Good Plumbers has built extensive experience delivering plumbing services for some of New Zealand's most significant correctional facilities. Our portfolio includes work at Mt Eden Prison, Northland Region Corrections Facility (Ngawha), Spring Hill Corrections Facility as part of a Collaborative Working Project, and the Public Private Partnership (PPP) developments at Auckland South Corrections Facility (Wiri) and Auckland Prison (Paremoremo).
These highly secure and technically demanding projects required a thorough understanding of the operational requirements of correctional environments. On the PPP projects, DL Good Plumbers worked closely with the design team to develop and implement robust, tamper-resistant plumbing systems specifically engineered to meet the stringent security, durability, and maintenance requirements of modern correctional facilities.

DL Good Plumbers has extensive experience delivering plumbing services across the healthcare sector, successfully completing projects ranging from new hospital developments to complex ward refurbishments within live operating hospital environments. Our team has worked with the main contractors involved to ensure the unique challenges of healthcare construction, where maintaining essential services, and minimising disruption to patients and clinical staff are critical to project success.
More recently, DL Good Plumbers has been involved in the RICE (Rapid IPU Capacity Expansion) projects at Middlemore Hospital and Hastings Hospital. Working closely with project teams, manufacturers, and other trades, DL Good Plumbers has developed streamlined installation processes that maximise the benefits of off-site fabrication.
